Collector | Hoarder | Duplicate EnjoyerI have been collecting for a good few years now, mostly focused on Official Merchandise, but as of recent I've been obsessed about: Photocards!With my photocard albums I enjoy collection a 2x2 page of 4 cards, but sometimes I like to make a double spread with 8 cards. Sometimes I'll also purchase some extras that stay homed within a photocard holder for convenience and to travel with! Is it necessary? No. But it brings me joy when I see them placed out so prettily in my album ^^I do like to collect duplicates in general so you'll see me order repeats just for my private merchandise collection! That's how I ended up with 4839503 bird plushies haha.Are you really a bird?

This is a labour of love; from a fan, to fans.
As a hobby collector, I am constantly ordering merchandise for my private collection, and for a while now I have also hosted private group orders with friends so we can share the shipping costs. After some encouragement, I've decided to open it to the public to help other fans obtain goods and share the shipping to help each other out. While this seems like a new group order service as of August 2024, but in fact I have actually hosted group orders in the past (~2016) for other fandoms for about 5 years before taking a break - but now I'm back at it!No profit is made from the group orders
No fees are charged to participate in the group order; this is not a proxy service. I believe in the traditional sense of group orders where it's there to help fans share the fees and shipping costs with each other and order as a group. I do not charge an extra fee for the group order service, and only charge the billable amount required to place and ship the order to me. However I may engage in a warehouse/proxy/shopping service to help us secure items that do not ship internationally. These costs will be shared amongst all participants in the group order. As this is a non-profit service run by 1 person, I may cap the amount of orders and/or participants if I think the order has gotten larger than I am comfortable with handling.How are Group Orders determined?
Group Orders are usually hosted when I am interested in ordering from an artist/shop directly, or when someone has requested it and there is at least 2-3 people interested so we can share any associated costs.Main Interest for Group Orders

If your request contains one of the above series, then there is a higher likelihood of the group order being hosted as there are regular GO participants who are interested in those series. Service
Bird Cache hosts a range of services, from hosting group orders, personal requests, and direct sales. In the group order hosting and personal request service, Bird Cache only acts as the forwarding address for your items. Item condition and liabilities are the responsibility of the shop/artist/seller from which the items were purchased fromOrder Consolidation
- Small items can be stored with me for up to a maximum of 6 months after I have received it
- However, if your order contains bulky items then I may request that you ship it off earlier depending on the amount of space it takes up.
- If you require bulky items to be stored for longer than 2 months then additional storage fees will be imposed
- If you have not shipped out your items after 6 months, then a storage fee will be charged at $1 AUD per day until your items have been shipped
- If you have not arranged and confirmed an extension or shipment with me after 9 months of the item's arrival to me then your items will be considered abandoned, voided and forfeited into my possession. These items may be resold or put up for giveaways and gifts
- If you have any personal circumstances or difficulties that require an extension, please discuss it with me beforehandPayments

- Payments usually consist of 1 or 2 deposits, before the final payment is made for the order to be shipped to you. The deposits are labeled as charge 1 and charge 2
- Charge 1 = Order Cost
Note: Any changes to your order cost from the currency fluctuations after your Charge 1 payment will be factored into your Charge 2 costs
- Charge 2 = Sharing other billable costs amongst all participants in the order. Potential other billed costs include but are not limited to: tax, domestic shipping to warehouse, warehouse/proxy fees if we need to use one, international shipping etc.
- Charge 3 = Shipping from Me to You

Any shared costs in Charge 2 will be split amongst all participants in the order by one of the methods below:
- By item units (usually when all items are similar, i.e. prints and photocards only)
- By price distribution (varied items, but no outlier weights and/or bulky items)
- By proportional size/weight (if there are bulky/heavy items in the package mixed with light items)
Currency Fluctuations
The quote I provide for you during Charge 1 is made only with the currency rates at the time of quotation. Any changes to your total order cost due to currency changes and/or discounts after your Charge 1 payment is received will be factored into your Charge 2 costs.
All costs will be factored and billed for as I will not be absorbing any out of pocket expenses as a result of your order.Shipping Information

Packaging:
I do my best to recycle packaging materials I receive to prevent additional costs, however if you request specific packaging requirements or your items require specialised packaging (i.e. poster tubes), then I will charge an additional cost to source itRequesting a Packaging Video for Your Shipment
I have a lot of fun with packaging, so I am happy to offer a packaging video of your order. Please note that this is by request only!
- Please submit a video packaging request form and I'll record a video of me packaging your order ready for shipment!
- These videos may be posted online on places such as my website, social media account etc. at my own discretion, so please keep that in mind
- Your username will be used during the packaging video and post to show who it is for, but no personal details such as shipping address will be shown on the videoRefunds & Cancellations
- Cancellations are only accepted during quotation
- No cancellations or refunds are accepted once the order confirmation has been sent and the items have been paid for
- Refunds will only be provided if the item is out of stock, unavailable, or otherwise unable to acquire the item
- If items are missing or arrives to me damaged, I will notify you and the shop/artist/proxy from which it was purchased through. Any refunds or replacements received from the shop/artist I will then communicate with you
- Items with manufacturer defects will not be refunded/replaced unless the seller provides compensation and/or replacement
- As group orders are a forwarding and hosting service, and not a sales service, item condition and liabilities are the responsibility of the shop/artist/seller from which the items were purchased fromResale of Items
If you use my services or join my group orders and resell the items to profit/scalp/at mark-up, then I may decline and/or blacklist you from my services in future
- Fanmerch: Please note that there are usually strict policies from artists in regards to the resale of their merchandise, please only resell/trade fanmerch for the original listed cost from the artist
- At my discretion an announcement may be made on social media of any blacklists that are imposed and the person/s may be reported directly to the artist of the circumstances and actions taken
Lost & Damaged Items and Packages
- If an order is lost in transit or damaged en route to me from the seller, then I will go through the correct channels to seek any potential compensation. However please keep in mind that any compensation is subject to each seller and may differ. I am not responsible for any lost/damaged packages en route to me and will not issue refunds unless the seller has provided any compensation which will then be forwarded and split with all affected participants in the order
- All items are checked for damages prior to shipment, however sealed items may not be opened to check its full condition unless you have advised me directly to open them to inspect for defects
- If there are damages from transit then that is responsibility of the shipping company and I am not responsible for any of the incurred damages or compensation
- Packages are shipped by Australia Post via Airmail unless otherwise stated and/or requested. By default the shipping option does not include tracking or insurance. Please request these options prior to shipment quote.
- Please purchase insurance as an addition if you are worried about lost/damaged packages from the shipping company
- You are responsible for collecting your package/s on time, ensuring its safety, and paying for any customs, duties, tax and any other associated costs that is charged for your package and delivery
- Unless requested, packages will not be marked as gift and will be labelled with the full original item cost and quantity
- If you request for your package to be marked down, then you may not be eligible for the full or partial insurance claim if any is available from the shipping company
- Any packages returned to sender can be resent at an additional re-shipping cost. Failure to arrange and pay for reshipment within 30 days after it has returned to me will incur storage fees of $1 AUD per day for up to a maximum of 60 days. After 60 days your package will be considered abandoned, voided and forfeited into my possession
Unboxing Video for Received Packages
- When receiving your package from me, you must film an unboxing video of your package without any cuts or edits to the footage. This is a precaution in the case that items are missing or damaged during transit
- If a full unboxing video is not provided as per the conditions listed above, then you may not be eligible for any potential refunds/replacements/insurance claims from the shipping company
- For damages during transit, if you have provided the full unedited video of the unboxing, then I will see if there is any insurance/compensation that can be claimed by the shipping company. However without purchasing additional insurance, this cannot be guaranteedDeclines & Removal from Services

- Failure to pay, defaulting on payments, charge-backs, non-response, failure to ship, and any behavior or communication I am uncomfortable with may result in being blacklisted and banned from participating in my group orders and servicesSubject to Change:
